Agape Meal – Wednesday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Agape is a Greek word used in the New Testament to describe the expansive, self-giving love that God has for us. The Agape Meal is a special service of Christian fellowship that recalls the meals Jesus shared with his disciples during his ministry and expresses the koinonia (community, sharing, & fellowship) that is enjoyed by the family of Christ.
The service includes special prayers, scripture and numerous simple food items such as bread, crackers, figs, nuts and olives, as well as wine & juice that we will share together around a special table. (Note: This is more appetizer-style and not a full meal.) We hope you will join us for this special service!
