7-28-2021 update:
If you are unaware, the CDC has returned to requesting that all people wear masks indoors. As of this morning there has not been anything new released from the Wisconsin Council of Churches nor the ELCA. However, it should be noted that they have continued to recommend full masking in church and both organizations have “Love Thy Neighbor” type campaigns they’re using to encourage churches to hold strong in this decision.
The Covid-19 Team concluded that we don’t feel the need to change our recommendations at this time. We will continue to watch the trends and support ministry teams in their decision making process on how they would like to proceed with these new federal guidelines. (We have a very minimal uptick in infections in our county at this time but we are also less than 50% vaccinated.)
